How to put on makeup when you have white hair

Complexion, look, eyebrows and lips, discover all our tips to highlight your face when you have white hair. You are also exposed to mistakes not to do.

The complexion

Ultra-bright, white hair tends to erase the complexion and make it look a little duller. To avoid this effect, wake up the radiance of your skin with a tinted cream or a mixture of foundation and moisturizer. Just powder the T-zone and apply a nice pink or apricot cream blush (depending on your complexion) to maintain maximum brightness. If necessary, add a few extra points of light to the cheek bones, the bridge of the nose or the center of the forehead with an illuminating powder.

The eyes

Forget the eyeliner, the smoky eyes or the bright eye shadow that will look too present next to your white hair. Opt for softer tones like gray, brown, dark blue or brown mascara. To intensify your eyes while subtlety, apply a brown eyeshadow in flush with upper eyelashes with a beveled brush and blur the line with a ball brush to obtain a very discreet smoky effect.

Eyebrows

To stay in tune with your white hair, go for a light gray pencil or powder or for a very light mole. Fill the sparse parts of your eyebrows and correct if necessary their shape to lift your eyes or correct a lid a little droopy. Apply a fixing or densifying gel in finish to perfect the makeup.

The lips

Define their outlines with a beige or pink pencil. This will also prevent your lipstick from spinning in fine lines during the day. Apply a cream or satin lipstick (leave aside the mats) pink, beige, raspberry or peach. Above all, avoid nudes, chestnuts and beiges that are not very flattering with white or gray hair.
