4 golden rules to protect my sensitive skin

Pollution, dust, UV rays, brutal temperature changes ... Every day, our sensitive skin undergoes multiple external aggressions. To protect and repair it gently, we put on a scrupulous routine. We give you our four golden rules essential for an effective result with the greatest respect for our skin.

1. Limit products

Even if we love to constantly test new products, distrust because our sensitive skin is at risk of overdose. The less we apply products, the less we sensitize the skin. We therefore limit the layers if we want to avoid allergies and other cutaneous reactions, and we set up a simple routine, adapted to our fragile skin with unscented and hypoallergenic products.

2. Hydrate continuously

Hydration is the basis of any beauty ritual and is even more necessary when you have a thin and fragile skin. Since the dermis is composed of 70% water and 15% epidermis, it maintains a good level of hydration by opting for appropriate care that is used morning and evening. Our skin is then strengthened and prepared to face the environmental elements that threaten it.

3. Avoid tap water

Do not believe that tap water moisturizes the skin, quite the opposite. With all the limestone it contains, it tends to dry it. However, cleansing the face morning and evening is essential to the beauty and health of the skin, to rid it of all types of impurity: makeup, pollution particles, excess sebum and dead cells. To do this, we put on soft products and adapted to our sensitive skin, and we do a cross on conventional soaps and wipes. To dry the face, gently wipe a tissue on the skin.

4. Protect yourself from UV

If in small quantities UV rays are beneficial to the synthesis of vitamin D, they remain extremely harmful to all skin types if it is exposed too long - and even more harmful when the epidermis is sensitive. Even when veiled, the sun is dangerous and can cause irreversible damage. To enjoy it without damaging our fragile skin, we therefore put on a daily photoprotection, at the beach as the city.
