7 tips for getting well dressed in the office
It is often said that you have to dress according to your work. As adaptable as it is, a whole can be treated and succeeded, or frankly disastrous. Opt for the first option.
Rhyme suit with flannel
The vast majority of men wear woolen suits. They are certainly pleasant to wear and can keep warm during the cold season. But to stand out, you can bet on another fabric: the flannel. This downy fabric (and soft) can easily give relief to your costume.
Very fashionable in the past, they are gradually returning to the front of the stage. Still relatively uncommon, they allow to stand out style while ensuring not to fall into eccentricity.
The flannel can be very formal, or conversely casual if the jacket is worn jeans or a chino.
Bet on the buttons
The crossed jackets are with their many buttons a particularly blatant inheritance of what were the military uniforms. It's time to use the past for your present look.
A plain crossover suit will certainly be less noticeable than a classic patterned suit, but it will give a particular paw to your ensemble. It's a double-edged garment. Badly carved, it will give you weight and shrink your shoulders. Well cut, conversely, it will make your torso appear wider and your waist thinner.
Versatile, it will be suitable for an original or classic style, whether for the company or a creative environment. Above all, it will give you a unique identity: most men do not wear this style of costume, you will be the one who dares the style.

Get off to a good start
Shoes are too often neglected by men. Yet a well chosen pair contributes a lot to the success of a look.
The range of possibilities for men's shoes is wider than we think. If a professional environment requires formal shoes (and well-polished), this still leaves several possibilities: oxfords, derbies, monkstrap or brogues.
If you can afford more freedoms, the shoe panel expands again: desert boots, chelsea, sneakers, boots, etc.
The different choices of shoes do not stop at the models, you can also vary the colors. Whether through a strong color, or a carefully made patina.
Get out of your comfort zone and try on models you have never worn before.

Change your shirt as notice
Unless you apply for a job with the Smurfs, you do not have to limit yourself to blue and white for your shirts. Most men wear only these two colors, the bravest ones sometimes daring light purple.
Do not hesitate to vary the colors, but also the patterns: tiles, stripes, etc. Changing blue and white does not mean falling into eccentricity.
You can also play on the fabric by swapping the poplin for chambray. This fabric is reminiscent of denim in a more formal way. If you want to stick to the blue shirt, the chambray will make it more original.

Tie your tie ...
The trend of wearing the tie is binary: sometimes yes, sometimes not. Recently, it is a movement of liberation ties that we observe, the collar is released and the suit becomes more relaxed. You have gained the freedom to look like all of your colleagues who wear their open shirts.
See the tie as an opportunity to express your personality. Opt for a knit tie, which gives a lot more style than any plain silk model.
You can even go to the next level: choose your fabric according to the seasons. Wool tie in winter, linen tie in summer.

…or not
Maybe you are not the type to wear ties. Or maybe your professional environment is very formal and does not allow you to orient yourself towards less conventional models. In both cases, you have options available.
You can bet on either the collar or the buttoning. For the first, a mandarin collar show that you care about your appearance (these are not very common) and do not forgot to wear a tie - because you can not put.

The style is in the bag
Overloaded backpacks with stitching fatigue can destroy your style. Especially those recovered during promotional events.
You could opt for a more upscale backpack, but they will not suit mature men. They remain after all the mark of adolescence or hiking. The crates have had their day (they may come back), so it's not up to them to turn.
Opt instead for a reasonably sized briefcase, big enough to hold your business documents and your personal arsenal. Preferably, take it in leather: its skin will attest to the marks of time, it will thus take value in your eyes.

Stylish to the end of the pen
To be stylish, think pen. In business, there are two categories of people: those who are satisfied with what is in the pencil pot and those who choose the upper level.
A beautiful pen can quickly cost several months of savings, but you do not have to spend an arm on this accessory. The pen is one of those discreet accessories that stand out and tell you a lot about your attention to detail. They can even be part of your own style
